I am setting up an online College Chemistry, General, and Organic Course presence for Home Schoolers, Extracurricular and College Prep level classes, lectured live/or archived for any interested students, along with quizzes, and tests and grading according to College Prep or College level classes.

I bring over 30 years of teaching Chemistry from the High School level Fundamentals of Chemistry, Introduction to Chemistry, General and Organic and Polymer Chemistry, 3 years of industrial experience as a chemist which led to a patent #4,663,388 in Cellulosic Polymer Chemistry, and other part-time/temporary industrial experience within my academic career.

I started my career of teaching Chemistry, Science and Math starting in 1991 at Pasco Hernando Community College, Hillsborough Community College, St. Petersburg Junior College and St. Leo College, all in the Tampa, Florida area, 2 Years at the College of Micronesia, 3 years at University of North Carolina – Pembroke, and had 4 years at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan finishing in July 2015. I also finished a short contract teaching chemistry at the American University in Iraq – Sulaimani, for the academic year 2016-17. And for the last few years I was teaching General and Organic Chemistry and associated laboratories at a campus of the University of Texas and General Chemistry and associated laboratories at a liberal arts college in South Carolina. I have just retired from college and university settings but see a real need for online live/recorded lectures and one on one service for those who want representative graded quizzes and tests, just as I would do for my students.

My first lectures will start next semester based on demand, at least 5 students per course, College Chemistry, General and Organic classes, High School Level Chemistry, and/or Physical Science, based on demand. The locals platform will be used starting immediately (if needed) to have live on line question/answer help sessions for students who need the services. Currently, the locals platform is relatively empty, with a few sample lectures for your viewing. I expect my technology for the coming lectures will be more up to date.

General Chemistry (equivalent AP Chemistry) 1 and 2 based on future demand. I hope to have 4 or 5 sections active each with about 20-25 students for each section.

To keep things simple, for quizzes, tests and grading services I am requesting a per semester fee of $500 per student. Otherwise viewing the lectures will be free or for a donation made using the locals platform.
